Lok Sewa Aayog Vacancy Yearly Calendar (Karyatalika) 2080 / 2081
Public Service Commission - PSC (Lok Sewa Aayog) has published a yearly vacancy calendar for the fiscal year 2080/81 (2023/2024). The calendar clearly mentioned the vacancy fulfillment month according to the position. This yearly calendar will be effective from 2080 Shrawan 1st to 2081 Ashad 31st (17th July 2023 to 16th July 2024). It includes details such as job Vacancies, Exams, and the result of various positions. PSC follows this calendar to conduct annual activities. It is a government body for procurement and recommendation of staff in government institutions.
Process of Selection
The Public Service Commission conducts examinations for selection of candidates as per the Public Service Commission (Procedure) Act, 2066 B.S. using one or more methods of selection as follows:
> Open competitive written examination,
> Open competitive practical examination,
> Interview and,
> Any other methods adopted by the Commission.
In order to carry out selection process, the Commission publishes vacancy announcement for the concerned candidates in its weekly bulletins published every Wednesday as well as in the "Gorkhapatra", a national daily. The Commission has also adopted an annual calendar of operation of its activities which incorporates all the details of phases of the selection process. In order to maintain fairness and impartiality in the selection, the commission has adopted a system of "multi-blindness" in which setting and moderation of questions, checking of answer sheets, conduction of interviews as well as result of written examinations and interviews are carried out in a manner that officials involved are kept in anonymity to each other.( source: psc.gov.np)
