National News Agency Internal Competition, Open and Inclusive Competitive Written Examination Advertisement Publication Date: 2080/01/22
According to the agreement received from the Public Service Commission dated 2080/01/15, the following vacant posts in this committee should be filled permanently through internal competition, open and inclusive competition; Applications are invited from Nepalese citizens who have qualified according to National News Committee Staff Service, Terms and Conditions, 2056 (Eighth Amendment, 2076).
Download the application form from the committee's website www.rssnepal.org.np/publication and paste a recent passport size photograph at the designated place and prepare a copy of the educational qualifications, training, experience and certificates of Nepalese citizenship you have received along with the application at the central office of the committee. It has to be submitted at Bhadrakali Plaza. Examination Fee Amount National Commercial Bank, Thapathali National News Committee Current Account No. 1430100002474001 must be attached with the application.
If the last day of application submission is a holiday, the application can be submitted until the next day when the office is open. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Documents to be attached:
The candidate should attach a copy of the educational qualification and citizenship certificate as well as a copy of the inclusive group opening document in case of inclusive group advertisement. If the applicant has acquired educational qualifications from other countries than Nepal, he must also submit a copy of the certificate of equivalency along with it. For the posts that require experience, the application form should mention the details of the experience and get it certified by the head of the office/organization where he/she has worked.
Last date of submission of application:
2080/02/11 and double fee can be submitted till 2080/02/18. Duplicate fee can be submitted till 2080/02/18 of the candidate
Age limit:
In case of sixth level posts 21 years of age and not exceeding 35 years up to 2080/02/11 and not exceeding 35 years of age but in case of female posts 21 years of age up to 2080/02/11 and not exceeding 35 years of age but in case of women and disabled candidates not exceeding 40 years. In case of fifth and fourth level posts completed 18 years of age up to 2080/02/11 and not exceeding 35 years but female In case of fifth and fourth level posts completed 18 years of age up to 2080/02/11 and not exceeding 35 years but female and In case of disabled candidates, not exceeding 40 years. There will be no age limit for the existing employees of RSS service. Salary and service, facilities: As per the rules of the committee.

Examination fee:
For each advertisement, the examination fee has to be submitted as per below. Applications for additional advertisements towards inclusive groups will have to be submitted. In the case of candidates who apply in additional advertisements towards inclusive groups, additional fees will have to be submitted for each additional group. Required Minimum Educational Qualification:
(a) As per Regulation 57 of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Staff Service, Conditions Regulations, 2056 (Eighth Amendment, 2076) towards internal competition, having completed the prescribed period of service in the post one level below the post to be promoted and having completed the minimum prescribed for the post he/she is holding Must have attained educational qualification. In order to be promoted from an official level post to a higher post of the official level, at least a bachelor's degree should be obtained. In the posts to be promoted through the internal competitive examination, all the employees working in the government service who have reached the prescribed service period and qualification for that post will be potential candidates.
(b) According to Regulation 22 of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Staff Service, Conditions Regulations, 2056 (Eighth Amendment, 2076) for open competition, they should not be disqualified and should have acquired the following educational qualifications.
1) For RSS service, News Group, Level 6: Graduation or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.
2) For RSS Service, Technical Group, Level 6: Graduation or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.
3) For RSS Service, News Group, Level 5: Passed Proficiency Certificate Level or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution or minimum D Plus in each subject (theoretical and practical) in Class XI and XII in the Secondary School Leaving Examination (SLCRE) and Obtained CGPA one decimal.
4) For RSS Service, News Group, Level 4:- Passed in SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution or passed with minimum GPA of two in SEE.
Special Instructions for Candidates Applying in the Inclusive Group Advertisement Candidates who wish to apply for the posts in the Inclusive Group must prepare the following documents and submit the application at the time of application. After being selected for the interview based on the results of the written test, when coming for the interview, you will have to bring the copies of such documents along with self-attested copies.
(a) In case of Madhesi: A document certified as Madhesi by the institution specified by the Government of Nepal by publication in the Nepal Gazette, but a document certified as Madhesi by the chief district officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body until the organization is specified by publication in the Nepal Gazette.
(b) In the case of Dalits: Based on the same list in the case of the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, but if there is more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a document certified by the Chief District Officer as a surname within the listed caste on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level/body.
(c) In case of disabled persons: Disability ID card issued by the Social Welfare Council or Disability ID card issued by the relevant local level stating the classification of disability according to sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2074.
Additional Information:
1) Must not be disqualified as per Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Staff Service, Conditions Regulations, 2056 (Eighth Amendment, 2076).
2) Examinations conducted on the basis of open and inclusive competition under each service will be conducted jointly at one time in one sitting.
3) Candidates who fill the form within the inclusive group must fill the first page of the application form separately for each group as per the advertisement and also the candidate must disclose the details of the types/groups he/she is applying for in the admit card in the prescribed format, but only one roll number and admit card will be provided. Candidates who do not disclose the required details will not be included in the examination.
4) Candidates whose form belongs to more than one group shall submit only 1/1 copy of each of the required documents to be submitted by them.
5) In the case of candidates who require a period of experience, they should have completed the minimum service period prescribed for the respective post by the last date for submission of applications.
6) The period of double duty shall not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification, period of experience and other qualifications.
7) Applications that have not been filed within the specified period or that have not met the minimum qualifications or that have not disclosed other specified details or that have not submitted the specified fee will not be accepted.
8) The employees working in the committee cannot be candidates for the same level post.
9) Must have achieved the prescribed educational qualification within the last date of application. Candidates who have studied in foreign institutions should have their qualifications determined by the relevant authorities.
10) The right to cancel any application with or without reason will be vested in the Recruitment Committee.
11) Candidates must use only black ink in the exam. Otherwise the answer sheet will be cancelled.
