MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Junior Officer Level
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA in the field of Information Technology/Security or Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience and age not exceeding 32 years as on application deadline.
Senior Assistant Level
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA in the field of Information Technology/Security or Computer Engineering with at least 1.5 years of relevant experience and age not exceeding 32 years as on application deadline.
Assistant Level
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA in the field of Information Technology/Security or Computer Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience and age not exceeding 26 years as on application deadline.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Perform investigations and analyze logs using various Monitoring Security technologies (i.e. SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, NAC, FIM, WAF etc.)
> Review and take a proactive approach to false positive security alerts and work with the various Security and IT teams to tune and provide feedback to improve accuracy of the alerts
> Prepares system security events reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and presents reporting for management review
> Conducts proof of concepts, vendor comparisons and recommend security solutions in line with business requirements
> Conducts security research on new threats/vulnerabilities and remediation methods
> Document, investigate and notify appropriate contact for security events
> Follows a standard methodology to identify and/or detect threats to the IT infrastructure, applications and other information assets
> Communicate with technical teams for security incident remediation and communication
> Contributes to strategic planning to evaluate, deploy or update security technologies
> Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
> Experience in Information technology, System/Network administration, information security/governance or IT risk management
> Demonstrate experience in windows/Unix scripting languages such as bash, python, regex and power shell
> Experience planning, researching and developing security strategies, standards, and procedures
> Proven ability to understand and analyze complex issues, then apply experience and judgment to develop sound recommendations especially as related to malware, eDiscovery, current threats/attacks and/or vulnerability management
> Strong understanding of security, incident response and/or networking/PC concepts
> Ability to demonstrate understanding of Security investigations process and procedures
> Ability to demonstrate technical experience working with enterprise security technologies like SIEM, antivirus/malware, IDS, WAF, DDoS mitigation platforms
> Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
> Understanding of common network services (Web, Mail, DNS, authentication)
> Knowledge of General system/network, TCP/IP, Internet Routing, UNIX / LINUX & Windows
> Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
> Knowledge of General Desktop OS and Server
> Knowledge on Phishing simulation
PREFERRED TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Security+
- CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker
- SEC401: Security Essentials
