Pokhara University, Service Commission, Open Competition (Academic Post) Vacancy for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor
Since the following vacancies in Pokhara University are to be filled permanently through open competition for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor; Applications are invited from eligible Nepali citizens to reach the office of Pokhara University Service Commission, Pokhara Metropolitan City-30, Dhungepatan, Kaski within the office hours by 2078-12-14 and by paying the double fee as per the rules.
Application Form from 2078-11-15 at Pokhara University Service Commission Office, Pokhara Mahanagarpalika-30, Dhudtepatan, Kaski. 500.- Payment can be obtained by handing over the vacancy voucher. No action will be taken on the application forms which have been received late and have not reached the due date.

The following documents should be kept in a separate file and 2/2 certified copies should be submitted.
1) Educational Qualification Certificates and Certificates.
2) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
3) 2 recent passport-size photos.
4) Certificate of experience and training.
5) Personal details (biodata) 6 copies.
6) Working permanent, temporary, contract appointment letters.
7) Candidates should submit 1/1 copy of published research work and other publications along with the application form.
8) Departmental approval letter if working in Pokhara University or other bodies.
9) The above-mentioned documents from Serial Number 1 to 8 should be submitted by the candidate while submitting the application form. No action will be taken on the application form without any paperwork.
10) Salary: will be as per the rules of Pokhara University.

Minimum qualifications required to be a candidate for the post of Professor:
Postgraduate level in first-class in a related subject, and Ph.D. and at least 10 years teaching, or 10 years research experience in a recognized Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus.
Or,
At least 12 years teaching or 12 years research experience in Mahavidhyala / College / Campus accredited by the post-graduate level second class in the related subject and Ph.D. and recognized by the university. Or, at least 13 years of teaching or 13 years of research experience at a postgraduate level first class in a related subject and university-recognized Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus.
Or,
Passed postgraduate level second class in a related subject, and at least 15 years teaching or 15 years research experience in Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus recognized by the University.
Or,
Postgraduate level first-class pass in related subject and Ph.D. and at least 14 years working experience in a related field, or postgraduate level first-class in a related subject and at least 15 years working experience in a related field.
Minimum qualifications required to be a candidate for the post of Associate Professor:
At least 5 years teaching or 8 years research experience in Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus recognized in the first class and Ph.D. and recognized by the university.
Or
At least 10 years of teaching or 10 years of research experience in Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus recognized in the relevant subject.
Or,
At least 11 years of teaching or 11 years of research experience in Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus recognized by the university and passing a postgraduate level first class in the related subject.
Or,
At least 13 years of teaching or 13 years of research experience in Mahavidhyalaya / College / Campus recognized by the university and passing the postgraduate level second class in the related subject.
Or,
Postgraduate level first-class pass in related subject and Ph.D. and at least 12 years working experience in a related field, or postgraduate level first-class in a related subject and at least 14 years working experience in a related field.
Minimum qualifications required to be a candidate for the post of Assistant Professor:
Passed at least second class in postgraduate level from a recognized university in a related subject.
