TU Notice Regarding 47th Convocation

47th Convocation Ceremony of Tribhuvan University will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 (Poush 05, 2078) at the premises of Examination Control Office, Tribhuvan University, Balkhu, therefore, this information has been published for all concerned students. As the global outbreak of COVID-19 is still rampant, only students who have received P.HD., M.C.H., M.Phil. and those students who got medal.  In the case of other students, their respective certificates can be obtained from the respective counts of this office within the stipulated time and date from the day after the graduation ceremony. The detailed of the graduation ceremony program will be as follows:

1. Gowns/Scarf/Hats Distribution:

A. Dated 2078 Mansir 28 to Poush 4th only (will be paid even on holidays).

B. Time: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (social distance maintained).

C. Location: From the designated count in the TU Examination Control Office, Balkhu.

D. In order to get a gown and a scarp cap at the graduation ceremony, the student must bring the form he / she received while filling the online form (including gown collection, gown return / certificate collection).

2. Attire: Students attending the graduation ceremony will be required to wear a gown / scarf / hat provided by TU.

3. Certificate Distribution:

A. Certificate will be distributed form the certificate distribution counter of TU, Balkhu form Poush 06, 2078 to Poush 10, 2078 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. After that period, Distribution is only made through concerned section.

B. In order to get the certificate, it is mandatory to bring a copy of the certificate obtained by while filling the online form and certified by this office.

4. Gown/Scarf/Hat and Deposit amount Return

A. Gown/Scarf/Hat Return Date: Poush 06, 2078 to Poush 12, 2078 (excluding holidays)

B. From 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the carp hat will be taken from the student and the deposit fee will be refunded through the bank account mentioned in the online form for the graduation ceremony.

C. If the gown scarf hat is lost, or if any one of the three is lost or not returned, the price will be deducted as per the assessment.

D. In order to get the deposit back, you must submit the return form of the gown received while filling the online form, otherwise the deposit and other less will not be refunded.

E. Students, who do not return the gown or scar or hat within the above date, will be charged fine or late fee that will deduct from deposit amount as well as for those students who fill the form but did not take gown/scarf/hat, will be charged fine and that amount will be deduced form deposit amount.

If students will not came to refund the deposit amount within given date, the deposit amount will not be return thereafter.
