Prime Commercial Bank Job Vacancy

Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. was incorporated in September 2007 as the 21st commercial bank in Nepal. 1. Position: Legal Department (Officer / Senior Officer Level)

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law holding advocate license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in legal field in Commercial Bank with focus in banking and company/ corporate law and with ability to provide technical and administrative support to the bank on legal issues.
  • Candidate should be conversant in assessment of legal documents with proven ability to represent bank in the court.

2. Position: Trainee Assistant (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field from recognized university securing at least 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written).
  • Age of the applicant should not have crossed 28 years as on 12th August 2021.
  • As Bank has requirement of Trainee Assistants at various Provinces in the Country, candidates must indicate their preferred location while applying for position of Trainee Assistant. Candidates meeting mentioned eligibility criteria and obtaining minimum required marks in selection examination conducted by the Bank shall be further shortlisted for interview on the basis of location as per requirement of the bank.
  • Applicants having Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.

3. Position: Digital Banking (Senior Assistant to Officer Level – few positions)

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (IT)/ Computer Engineering/ Electronic and Communication Engineering/ Computer Applications/ Computer Information System field from recognized university.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial Institutions or relevant service providers for Officer Level and 3 years for Senior Assistant or below Officer Level with knowledge on overall digital banking products.
  • Candidate should have hands on experience on development of new and improved service delivery channels to ensure Bank’s competitiveness in digital service delivery.
  • S/he should be responsible for delivering Bank’s digital products and services. Applying candidate should have sound conceptual/operational knowledge of Credit Card, Debit Card, POS acquiring, Mobile Banking, QR Code acquiring, ATM management, Card/ ATM/ Mobile banking transactions reconciliation and settlement.
  • S/he should have sound knowledge of VISA operational guidelines, VISA dispute resolution guidelines, and relevant regulatory circulars.

4. Position: Relationship Manager/Officer- (Senior Assistant to Officer Level – a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business related field from recognized university.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial Institutions for Officer Level and 3 years for Senior Assistant or below Officer Level with focus in Credit functions.
  • Candidates should have sound working knowledge of credit appraisal/procedures and related Central Bank Directives and Circulars
  • Candidates should solicit credit related businesses by identifying opportunities, building and maintaining good relationship with clients.
5. Position: Branch Manager (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business related field from recognized university.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions with focus in Credit, Business Development, Trade Finance and Branch Management.
  • Candidates with previous work experience as Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager in financial institutions inside and / or outside Kathmandu Valley shall be preferred.
  • Candidates should also have sound working knowledge of Central Bank Directives and Circulars.

6. Position: Gold Loan Supervisor/ Assistant – Contact (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience as Gold Tester preferably in financial institution with proven experience in Gold Loan Marketing, Operations and Audit.
